GENUI sells labor team to Galenica
Business and impact scaled successfully

Zurich/Goldach/Hamburg, July 2, 2025 – Investment firm GENUI sells Swiss diagnostics provider labor team to Swiss pharmaceutical company Galenica. An agreement has been signed. GENUI acquired labor team in 2021. Since then, the company has become one of the four largest laboratories in Switzerland with revenues in excess of 100m CHF and more than 300 employees. The purchase price is not disclosed. The transaction is subject to approval by the Swiss Competition Commission (WEKO), which is expected in the second half of 2025.

Partnership guided by “Good Entrepreneurship”

He has served as chairman of the German Federal Ministry of Health’s health innovation hub and brought many years of experience as an entrepreneur and CEO in the healthcare sector to the company. He is also very familiar with the Swiss healthcare market, having worked for six years at the University Hospital Zurich.

Successful scaling of labor team
