Cardea Europe AG: Delay of interest payment on 7.25% corporate bond

8 December 2022 - Frankfurt. Cardea Europe AG informs that interests on its 7.25% corporate bond (ISIN DE000A3H2ZP5) due on 8 December 2022, will not be paid on 8 December 2022. Pursuant to Section 9 (1) (a) of the Terms and Conditions, a delay of interest payment of more than 15 days constitutes an Event of Default which in turn facilitates a right of termination. Cardea Europe AG intends to pay the outstanding interest within the granted term of 15 days.

Cardea Europe AG is currently working on a solution within the Cardea Group to provide the necessary liquid funds within the above-mentioned period. In addition, the guarantee of the parent company Cardea Group applies to the interest payment (cf. announcement of 07.04.2022).
