A new addition to the HÖRMANN management team HÖRMANN Industries GmbH operates in four business divisions: Automotive, Communication, Intralogistics and Engineering. The corporate group combines approximately 30 companies within the HÖRMANN Industries GmbH organisation and its objective is to pool the strengths of those companies and ensure their long-term competitiveness. Gathering specific skills and expertise within one organisation is becoming ever more important, especially in light of increasing digitalisation, artificial intelligence and automation. Dr Andreas Albath, Chair of the HÖRMANN Group Advisory Board, commented, ‘The appointment of Kerstin Schreiber to the management of HÖRMANN Industries is a logical step in the evolution of the way that collaboration works within the corporate group. That is all the more important at a time when we are restructuring the management of the holding company. Our clear objective is to make sure we work together in such a way as to create lasting added value for both companies, strategically and operationally.’ As Kerstin Schreiber explained, ‘For years, Funkwerk AG and the HÖRMANN Group have collaborated in a partnership built on trust, transparency and a common set of goals. I am thrilled to have the chance to play an active role in shaping the future of this successful partnership as a member of the HÖRMANN Industries management and lend fresh momentum to the entire HÖRMANN Group. I think this gives Funkwerk AG a huge opportunity, because it will allow us to refine our strategic direction, accelerate the pace of innovation and strengthen our long-term viability.’ The new CEO of the HÖRMANN Group, Dr Dirk-Eric Loebermann, likewise stressed the importance of the appointment, adding, ‘I’m looking forward to working with the expanded management structure. We are building a formidable team with the many issues that need to be dealt with now distributed clearly across multiple areas of responsibility. At the same time, all the relevant divisions are represented on the management, which will help with faster and more agile decision-making and speed up implementation. With targeted management of cross-divisional issues at corporate level, we are strengthening functional excellence across the HÖRMANN Group as a whole. Together, we will continue the strategic development of the corporate group and ensure that it is on a firm footing for the future.’
