The interactive periodic table: discover elements, deepen information

This interactive periodic table provides users with an intuitive tool that presents chemical elements in a structured and easily accessible form. In addition to the classic information - including atomic number, element symbol, atomic mass, electron configuration and aggregate state - the tool offers more detailed views of selected properties of each element. These include information on density, ionization energy, common oxidation states, industrial use and history of discovery.

Thanks to its interactive structure, the periodic table is suitable for use in education, research and teaching as well as for interested private individuals who want to get a quick and well-founded overview. The tool is designed as a browser-based module and requires no additional software installation.

Features at a glance:

  • Complete display of all elements by period and group
  • Filter and search function for targeted navigation Responsive
  • Display for desktop and mobile devices
  • Expandable information views with practical data

This periodic table was developed to provide complex information in a user-friendly way - for quick access to elementary knowledge.

Coming soon: The X version of the interactive periodic table

An extended version of the interactive periodic table will soon be available - the so-called X version. The "X" stands for Exchange - and marks an innovative bridge between chemistry and the capital market.

The new view gives users the opportunity to establish a specific link between chemical elements and listed companies. By simply clicking on an element, the following information can be called up:

  • Which companies extract, process or trade in the respective raw material?
  • Where is the element particularly relevant in industrial applications?
  • Which exchange-traded products (e.g. ETFs or commodity indices) are listed?

Example 1: Lithium (Li)
The light metal lithium plays a central role in the production of modern lithium-ion batteries - for electric vehicles or portable electronics, for example. With just one click, the X version shows companies such as Albemarle, SQM and Livent, which are active in the mining and processing of lithium. Listed battery manufacturers and relevant ETFs are also displayed.

Example 2: Neodymium (Nd)
As a component of powerful permanent magnets, neodymium is essential for electromobility and wind power technology. The X variant refers to companies that are active in the rare earth sector, such as MP Materials, as well as their areas of application in the automotive, aviation and energy sectors. In this way, technological megatrends can be linked with real economic players.

This new perspective - from chemical element to investment idea - creates unique added value for users from research, industry and the capital market environment.

Discover soon how elements can be systematically linked with economic relevance - transparently, interactively and based on data.
