Cannovum Cannabis AG (Frankfurt/Xetra, Düsseldorf, Munich, Hamburg, Berlin, gettex: ISIN DE000A37FUP2) and its partners will be selling fake hemp on the shelves of discounter Aldi-Süd from 27 June 2024, at a price of €2.99 in around 1,000 stores. The products bear the logo of the "Anbau Allianz für Deutschland", a subsidiary of Cannovum Cannabis AG. With the "Scheinhanf - die legale Pflanze für Ihren Garten" (fake hemp - the legal plant for your garden) offer, Cannovum Cannabis AG and its partners want to raise awareness of the legalization of recreational cannabis in Germany in all social classes.
The sales campaign is an important step in raising awareness of Cannovum Cannabis AG and promoting the social acceptance of cannabis as a recreational drug in Germany. From 1 July, cannabis clubs will be able to apply for a cultivation license for recreational cannabis. Cannovum Cannabis AG and its subsidiary, Anbau Allianz für Deutschland GmbH, will support these clubs as commercial partners with system-relevant products and services.
Cannovum Cannabis AG will soon announce the launch of the first reference clubs. There, Cannovum Cannabis AG and its partners will demonstrate practically how cannabis can be successfully grown and distributed in Germany as a recreational drug in an ecologically sustainable, legally compliant manner. They will also comply with all aspects of youth protection and quality assurance.
Klaus Madzia, CEO of Cannovum Cannabis AG: "We are proud to be able to provide a real measurable added value for the legalization of cannabis with Cannovum Cannabis AG, Aldi-Süd and Anbau Allianz. We are about to start the official cultivation by clubs and can already successfully demonstrate our expertise today.”
Through its subsidiary, Anbau Allianz für Deutschland GmbH, Cannovum Cannabis AG has a broad network of family businesses from the German agricultural sector that will implement the topic of cannabis cultivation and "reference clubs" with the highest level of security and expertise. The following partners of Anbau Allianz were involved in the "Scheinhanf" product for Aldi-Süd. Production: Hortensien Spieker and Gartenbau Baum, logistics and trading partner: Q-Flower, pots: POTTBURRI.
The growth and sales potential of legalizing recreational cannabis for Cannovum Cannabis AG is enormous. "According to our calculations, a single club in Germany can generate up to 2.4 million euros per year with recreational cannabis. In the medium term, we expect several thousand clubs in Germany," says Klaus Madzia, CEO of Cannovum Cannabis AG.
