RIB Software SE (RIB) signs a Phase-II-contract (No. 19 / 2021) with a leading IoT Company

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 09 April 2021 - RIB Software SE, the world's leading provider of iTWO 5D BIM Big Data technology and MTWO Cloud technology for the construction industry, today announced the conclusion of a Phase-II-contract with a leading innovator in 3D motion tracking technology and products.

From smartphones and tablets to smart clothing and wearable devices, the customer is enabling a new era called the IoT "Internet of Moving Things," where the movement and context of everyday objects and devices can be measured, monitored and analysed, generating valuable data and insights that will transform the way consumers live and businesses operate. The sensor fusion technologies provide a seamless interaction between the physical and the digital world in consumer electronics devices and professional applications such as healthcare, sports and industrial applications.

The agreement was executed through RIB's ERP division, Levtech Consulting jointly with RIB Cloud supporting the digital transformation initiative with the deployment of a cloud-based IT backbone. RIB Cloud has designed and migrated the client's on-premises IT assets onto Microsoft Azure, supported by RIB Cloud's 24/7 managed Azure services.

With significant business expansion underway, the customer was keen to develop a digital blueprint to ensure that business processes could easily extend as operations expanded. RIB embarked on a Business Process Analysis and Cloud Design exercise which outlined the digital transformation roadmap for the customer, across their global operations spanning China, Europe and US. Based on a template-driven approach, RIB will now deliver the pilot implementation covering automation of financial management, supply chain, manufacturing and service management, apart from integrations to third-party tools. This will be further followed by rapid rollouts of the cloud business platform in multiple territories and subsidiaries across China and US.
