Eckert & Ziegler Lowers 2022 Profit Guidance to 27 mm EUR

DGAP-Ad-hoc: Eckert & Ziegler Strahlen- und Medizintechnik AG / Key word(s): Profit Warning/Forecast Berlin, 5 July 2022. Due to slow consultation progress and a general worsening of the international business climate the Management Board of Eckert & Ziegler has concluded that the probability of an extraordinary profit from a sale or readjustments of assets, still within calendar year 2022 and in an amount of 14.3 mm EUR, has decreased to less than 50%. On the other hand, a stronger than expected order intake and solid half-year results will raise the 2022 net profit in the recurring business from 24 to 27 mm EUR and hence by 17% compared to 2021. The board therefore in sum revises its 2022 net profit guidance from 38.3 to 27 mm EUR. The sales forecast for the financial year 2022 published on March 24, 2022 remains unchanged.
