REPLOID Group AG (“REPLOID”) has signed a non-binding letter of intent (“LoI”) with the 11er Group regarding potential future cooperation in the field of potato peel recycling using insect larvae. Based on the key points set out in the LoI, REPLOID and 11er will examine the potential for implementing a joint insect farming facility in Vorarlberg for the utilization of food waste, in particular potato peelings, and for the regional distribution of insect raw materials, with a focus on a special organic soil improver (fertilizer) for regional agriculture, particularly potato cultivation.
